This magnificent palace offers an immersive experience, starting with a video presentation that changes after each state visit, followed by an opportunity to photograph yourself with the Qasr Al Watan logo, creating a memorable keepsake of your visit.

On select days, enjoy a special encounter with the horse patrols, where horses and horsemen dressed in attire from state visits add a touch of tradition to your tour. These interactions, available on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at 4:00 PM, are accompanied by security personnel to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors.

Qasr Al Watan’s vast collection of manuscripts, rare books, and historical documents is a treasure trove for history enthusiasts. The palace’s library boasts over 22,000 books on various subjects related to the UAE, offering a deep dive into the region’s rich cultural heritage.

As you explore further, you’ll find the state dining room, used for official state dinners, and the majlis, a traditional meeting space where significant discussions take place. The gallery showcases a variety of exhibits, including traditional Emirati clothing, jewelry, and handicrafts, providing a comprehensive view of the region’s artistic and cultural expressions.

Things to Note

• Entry: Guests should bring a printed copy of their e-ticket and proceed directly to the turnstiles to scan for entry.
• Security: All guests are required to go through security screening. The operator reserves the right to verify identity via original government photo ID or the credit card used for purchase.
• Access: This ticket grants single general admission to the palace, gardens, visitor center, and all public areas.
• Tours: General admission does not include a guided tour. Upgrades are available at the ticket counter near the palace entrance or visitor center.
• Restrictions: Outside food and drinks are not permitted.
• Ticket Validity: Guests must keep their ticket with them at all times, as it will be checked at multiple points.
• Closures: As Qasr Al Watan is an official state venue, unexpected closures may occur. Non-dated tickets do not guarantee entry, and no refunds will be issued if the palace is closed on your intended travel date.
• Photography: Non-commercial photography is encouraged in all areas, with the exception of wearable devices inside the palace or palace grounds.
• Storage: No cloakroom or locker facilities are available. Visitors are encouraged to leave excess belongings at home or in their vehicles.
• Conduct: Mobile phones must be switched to silent out of consideration for other visitors.
• Prayer Rooms: Available for both men and women at the Visitor Centre and Zayed Gate.
• No-Shows: A 100% no-show fee applies if a guest does not arrive at the designated start time.
• Operational Issues: The service provider is not liable if any part of the attraction is non-operational due to technical issues or weather.
